Organic Oat Bran
Oat Bran is the nutrient-dense outer husk of oat grain and is a good source of fiber and protein. NOW Real Food Organic Oat Bran is a great addition to most baked goods and is primarily used to boost fiber content. It adds texture and imparts a subtle, nutty flavor that's ideal for breads and muffins, and it's a flavorful addition to cereals, or as a topping for breads and muffins that adds color and improves taste.
Soluble fiber from foods such as oat bran, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. A serving of NOW Real Food Organic Oat Bran supplies 3 grams of soluble fiber.
