NOW® Ascorbyl Palmitate is a highly stable form of Ascorbic Acid, or Vitamin C. Ascorbyl Palmitate is soluble in both water and lipid, and this dual solubility allows it to be incorporated into cell membranes where it neutralizes free radicals free radicals and helps maintain healthy issues. While it possesses all of the antioxidant properties of Vitamin C, it can also more easily penetrate the blood-brain barrier, facilitating the extension of its antioxidant activities to the brain and nervous system.
Suggested Use
Take 1 capsule 1 to 2 times daily, preferably with food.
Other Ingredients
Hypromellose (cellulose capsule), rice flour, magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and silicon dioxide.
Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
